[Group] Representative of Invest Alberta Canada and His Delegation Visited Sam Group for Business Meeting

On March 31, 2022, Mr. TSUI Kevin, Chief Representative of Invest Alberta Corporation (IAC) in China, together with JIANG, Junxia, Commercial Attache of the Canadian Embassy in China, and YE, Nan, Senior Commercial Officer of the Government of Alberta in Beijing, visited China Sam Enterprise Group Limited (hereinafter referred to as "Sam Group"). ZHOU, Lu, Vice President of Sam Group, ZHENG, Yang, General Manager of Oil Products Trading Sector, HU, Yajie, General Manager of Oil and Gas Development Sector, and LIU, Qingping, Manager of Business Department, received them at the group headquarters in Beijing. Both sides had a friendly meeting on business cooperation.



ZHOU, Lu firstly welcomed Mr. TSUI Kevin and the delegation. He introduced the general information and main businesses of Sam Group, and indicated that the group has long been focusing on investment, development and international trade in oil and gas industry. Sam Group constantly aligns with national developing needs, and actively pursues global trade and investment opportunities to promote mutual benefits among international enterprises. The Group looks forward to cooperating with Alberta in the fields of crude oil, manufacturing and agriculture.


Mr. TSUI Kevin expressed his appreciation for the warm reception of Sam Group. He said that IAC is an institutional platform established by the Alberta government to promote investment and trade between Alberta and the global market. It aims to link the industry, government and corporate partners together. China has huge market potentials and capital advantages, therefore IAC hopes to attract Chinese enterprises with great value and influence to invest in Alberta. During the meeting, the two sides made in-depth exchange on the topics of economic relationship between Chinese and Canadian governments and enterprises, trading policies, business cooperation prospects, and key issues in trade activities. This meeting laid a good foundation for prospective cooperation.
